How it works
From the dock to the doorstep, every lot accounted for.
Lots and expiry dates recorded at receiving
Turn on lot tracking for the products that need it, and make the expiry date required where it matters. Receivers record the lot and date as stock comes in.
- Per product. Track lots only on the SKUs that need it.
- Expiry required. Make the expiry date mandatory for dated products.
- Checked at the dock. Expired lots and duplicate lot codes are refused at receiving.
The earliest expiry ships first
Logentic allocates every order from the lot that expires soonest. Expired stock never counts as available, so it can't be sold by mistake.
- Automatic allocation. First expiry, first out, on every order.
- Lot on the pick screen. Pickers see which lot to take.
- Lot on the record. Order lines and shipments keep the lots they took.
