Lightspeed integration

The warehouse behind your Lightspeed stores.

Logentic connects to Lightspeed Retail and Lightspeed eCom. Online orders and register sales come in, tracking goes back to eCom, and each shop's stock stays right in Retail, which keeps your online store in step.

Online orders come in by Lightspeed eCom webhook, with a catch-up sync every 30 minutes that also brings in register sales. Stock goes to Lightspeed Retail, and Retail passes it on to your eCom store.

How it works

One warehouse for the boutique and the online store.

Online orders and register sales in one place

Lightspeed eCom orders land in Logentic's queue ready to pick. Sales rung up at the register come in too, and come out of that shop's bins, so the count stays right on both sides.
  • Click & Collect orders become pickup orders for the right boutique
  • Register returns and exchanges go back into stock
  • Or turn off auto-fulfill for a shop, and its register sales come in as orders to pick and ship

Sample data

Tracking and pickup status go back to eCom

When a label prints, Logentic adds the shipment and tracking number to the Lightspeed eCom order. For Click & Collect, the order shows ready for pickup once it's picked, and closes when the customer picks it up.
  • Discounted Canada Post, Purolator, UPS and FedEx rates on every order
  • Branded tracking pages for your customers
  • No copy-pasting between Lightspeed and the carrier

Each Lightspeed shop is a warehouse

Map every Lightspeed shop to a Logentic warehouse. When Logentic owns the count, every receipt, putaway, pick and adjustment updates that shop's stock in Lightspeed Retail, and Retail updates your eCom store.
  • Stock counts by bin, rolled up per shop
  • Damaged or held stock stays out of what Lightspeed sells
  • Bundles sell what their components can build

How implementation works

Lightspeed questions

Lightspeed Retail (R-Series), the point of sale, and Lightspeed eCom (C-Series), the online store. Retail brings the catalog, stock and register sales; eCom brings the online orders and gets the tracking back.

You choose per warehouse. During setup, Lightspeed can keep the count while you check that the numbers match. Once Logentic owns it, Logentic sends each shop's Available to Lightspeed Retail, and Retail passes it on to eCom.

Yes. Completed register sales come into Logentic and come out of that shop's bins. Returns and exchanges at the register go back into stock.

Yes. Logentic keeps the English and French names from Lightspeed eCom, shows the one that matches each user's language, and finds products by either name.

Yes. Shopify connects the same way: orders, products, stock and fulfillments.
